All NGOs have to get
registered with
nengos.org
as members for availing the facilities mentioned in (a)
& (b) above. In addition, they have to pay a professional fee to the
organization for all the support they get from the organization, if
the proposal gets approved.
nengos.org
will also provide approved sample proposal to the
member NGOs, apart from providing them training on how to prepare a
good proposal, how to approach a funding agency, which funding agency
to approach for which proposal and on the entire follow up process
with the funding agencies. A nominal training course fee would be
charged from the member NGOs. |

c) Exclusive
Consultancy Service (for member NGOs) |

1. |
Providing alternate
methods of fundraising to the member NGO on project proposals, which
would involve the following:

(i) |
working out various fund raising techniques with the
member NGO |
|
|
(ii) |
preparing marketing plan for fund raising |
|
|
(iii) |
approaching individual donors |
|
|
(iv) |
approaching corporate houses |
|
|
(v) |
raising funds through sale of products and payroll
contributions, etc |
|
|
(vi) |
organizing events for fund raising purposes |
|
|
|
|
|
2. |
Providing fund
raising tips for future projects, based on the activities outlined in
(i) to (vi) above. |
|
For availing
exclusive consultancy services, the professional fee will be payable
by member NGOs in two modes, viz., a mutually agreeable monthly
retainer fee which depends upon the amount of funds they are expecting
and the balance after getting the first installment from the funding
agency.
This funding is possible only for projects and not for corpus fund
purposes. |

d) Training &
Education |
|
nengos.org
would have provisions for both on-line and class room
training. On-line training and education to NGO staff on fundraising
techniques and partnership building will be an inbuilt component of
the organization's development activity. Study material will be sent
to the member NGOs free of cost. The duration of on-line training
would be three months. There will be a one time admission fee for
availing online training facilities . The objectives of training (both
on-line as well as class room) would be the following: |

The methodology adopted for imparting on-line
training would be the following: |

As mentioned above,
classroom training facilities would also be available with the
services of a panel of experts. The training fee for class room
training would be mutually agreed upon with the concerned member NGOs,
keeping in mind that the fee should not in any way becomes a burden
for the member NGO. The venue and duration of the class room training
would be decided upon after gauging the receptivity of the member NGO.
